In this symposium on cardiovascular emergencies, Dr. Sloane reviews the physiology and application of invasive hemodynamic monitoring (including pulmonary artery catheter waveform analysis and interpretation of hemodynamic profiles), optimal strategies in fluid and vasoactive support, management of HTN emergency, and management of acute CHF and cardiogenic shock.
